Vice President for Finance and Administration

As vice president for finance and administration, Ken Jones oversees the finance, accounting, grants management, human development, operations, and information technology functions of the Foundation. In this role, he ensures the Foundation’s finance and administration policies are in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures. He is also responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency of Foundation operations. Jones has over 20 years experience in business and finance, including serving as chief financial officer for Danya International and Jhpiego, an international health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University. Ken also has significant financial corporate experience working for Prudential, Ford, and Pfizer corporations. He earned a master's in business administration from the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management, a master’s in economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a bachelor's from Boston University. He is on the board of directors of the Non Profit Organizations Knowledge Initiative (NPOKI) and Lutheran World Relief.
