Criteria for Resources in the Knowledge Center

The purpose of the Knowledge Center is to serve the needs of the Casey Foundation’s priority audiences by including a range of resources developed either by Casey or one of our grantees that capture our experience and learning in efforts to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, youth, families, and communities. These resources have been prepared with one or more of these priority audiences in mind—advocates, policymakers, practitioners, the media, researchers and community members—and range from data on key indicators of child, family, and community well-being, evaluation studies, reflections and lessons learned to emerging practices, insight and evidence driven tools and approaches, stories and case studies, and overview information and fact sheets on Foundation initiatives.

Although reflective mostly of the Casey Foundation’s more recent grantmaking and internal work, key documents have been selected from the Foundation’s Knowledge System from as far back as the 1990’s in order to present what we have learned from over 50 years of work in this field. The Knowledge Center does not contain an exhaustive list of all Foundation publications. If you cannot find a publication you believe Casey or one of our grantees has authored, please email Knowledge Services at knowledgeservices@aecf.org.
