Family Strengthening Awards
Meet the 2008 Honorees!
FAMILIES COUNT Family Strengthening Awards honor the people and programs working every day to improve the prospects of children and families living in tough neighborhoods. Each year, the Annie E. Casey Foundation provides grants to national organizations whose local affiliates are working directly with families in their communities. These national co-sponsoring organizations, in turn, make awards to exemplary local programs within their networks.
The FAMILIES COUNT Family Strengthening Awards highlight the accomplishments of the remarkable people and organizations that show the rest of us how it can be done. Their outstanding work creates hope and opens the door to real opportunities for families.
